Cameron Mawer

St. Neots Town

Cameron Mawer is a football coach serving as the Manager of St. Neots Town Football Club since . He has previously been associated with Boreham Wood, Hendon, Wealdstone and Weymouth during his career.

He is the holder of a UEFA B Licence.

Born in Stevenage in 1986, Mawer began his playing career with Watford and had a stint at Peterborough United. Primarily playing as a Right Centre Back or Right Back, Cameron achieved significant success with Grays Athletic, winning an FA Trophy in the 2005/6 season. He also played for Weymouth in the Conference (National League), Arlesey Town, and Biggleswade Town.

Cameron’s coaching career began at Boreham Wood, where he started as an Academy manager and saw several players progress to professional football. His dedication and skill led to his promotion to First-Team Coach and later Assistant Manager at Boreham Wood. In April 2021, he joined Hendon FC as Assistant Manager under Lee Allinson, his former teammate from Biggleswade Town. Cameron left Hendon in February 2023.

Currently, Cameron runs successful football academies at Kempston Rovers and Wealdstone. His extensive experience both on and off the pitch has equipped him with valuable insights and skills that he now imparts to young aspiring footballers through his academies.
